
Jessica Ryan is owner and CEO of JRyan Police Consulting, LLC. Jessica Ryan is not only an innovative entrepreneur but also a highly driven and accomplished law enforcement administrator with over twenty-four years of experience in law enforcement. Over a decade was spent working multi-agency undercover operations alongside agents from DEA, FBI, HSI and local authorities. These complex operations involved narcotics transactions, narcotics interdiction, child pornography, child sex trafficking, prostitution, and human trafficking. As a progressive, ambitious, and goal-oriented leader, she became the first female lieutenant, then first female captain in the history of the Plantation Police Department. Captain Ryan has been the division commander of the Patrol Division, General Services Division, and currently the Support Services Division. These divisions have included the Property & Evidence Unit, Records Unit, Fleet & Facilities Unit, Communications Unit, Recruiting, Hiring, Training, Code Enforcement, and Accreditation. Captain Ryan has also managed the police department's 57-million-dollar budget for three fiscal years. She sits as a committee member of the Florida Police Chief's Association Legal Committee and is also an instructor with the Institute of Police Technology & Management under their Executive Leadership & Management umbrella.
