Jessica Ryan is owner and CEO of JRyan Police Consulting, LLC. Jessica Ryan is not only an innovative entrepreneur but also a highly driven and accomplished law enforcement administrator with over twenty-three years of experience in law enforcement. Over a decade was spent working multi-agency undercover operations alongside agents from DEA, FBI, HSI and local authorities. These complex operations involved narcotics transactions, narcotics interdiction, child pornography, child sex trafficking, prostitution, and human trafficking. As a progressive, ambitious, and goal-oriented leader, she became the first female lieutenant, then first female captain in the history of the Plantation Police Department. She currently oversees communications, property & evidence, records, fleet/building, and manages the police department's 49 million dollar budget. She sits as a board member of the non-profit organization, A Thinner Blue Line, and as a board member of the Florida Police Chief's Association Legal Committee.
Jessica is also an instructor with the Institute of Police Technology & Management under their Executive Leadership & Management umbrella.
Experience ranging from commanding critical and catastrophic incidents, to being able to build internal alliances to advocate for complex situations. A true change agent of policy and procedures who also builds curricula for several components; such as promotional process preparation, executive leadership development, and Field Training Sergeant's Programs.
